About
A career rooted in sport, the human body and caring
Robin Hétroy, osteopath D.O.
With a lifelong passion for the human body and movement, Robin Hétroy first developed a competitive sports practice before turning to the healthcare professions. This dual background — athletic and scientific — shaped a holistic vision of health that he now puts at the service of his patients.
A graduate of the Institut de Formation en Ostéopathie (IFSO) in Rennes, he set up practice in Plestin-les-Grèves in 2014 and has been working there for over ten years. His practice welcomes a wide range of patients: infants, children, teenagers, active adults, athletes, pregnant women and seniors.
Robin Hétroy is committed to regular continuing professional development. In 2024, he completed specialised training on ventilation and obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome (OSAS), further enhancing his management of cervico-cranial and respiratory disorders.
My approach
Each consultation begins with a thorough case history — your background, your pain, your lifestyle. The clinical examination then identifies areas of tension and restriction. Treatment is always tailored: the techniques used vary according to your age, condition and goals. The aim is not to provide temporary relief, but to understand and treat the causes in order to promote lasting wellbeing.
Values
Listening
Every patient is unique. I take the time to understand your situation before any intervention.
Rigour
Continuing education, up-to-date knowledge, evidence-based and proven techniques.
Transparency
I explain what I do and why. You are an active participant in your own health.
Care
A welcoming practice, a gentle approach, non-judgmental support.
